We continue our trip to the beautiful country of India.

Moebius (Nikunj Patel) is a music producer based in Mumbai. His work is a blend of manipulated samples and swingy beats, that draws inspiration from Lo-fi HipHop, House and UK-garage. Explorations in Rhythm and
Movement are the central aspect of his music, subliminally informed by his profession as an Animator and Graphic Artist. He is a member of Jwala collective, a group of eight music producers spread across India,
discovering and releasing local music producers on their compilations. Now having been part of the music community for about 8 years and having worked professionally as an animator and VJ with a diverse range of musicians, events and festivals, his music project is an attempt to synthesize his experiences into audio. He also creates his own high quality artwork and visuals to couple up with his sonic adventures.

His music has been featured on platforms like BBC Asian Network, Worldwide.fm, source radio and fairly regularly on Indian online radio channel, Boxout.fm. His music has received support from artists like Zipporah, Sandunes, Tarqeeb, Zokhuma, Kavya Trehan, Spryk, Kreon, Dolorblind & noni-mouse. He has also worked as a composer and sound designer on various film and animation projects. Films that have won awards include “A pinch of skin”, “INDU” and “Mother”.
